The Unknown Mild One
Anyone who has read my few previous reviews knows that I am very old-school and retro-oriented and come from the wet shaving community. Only recently have I started to take an interest in EdTs and EdPs and pure enjoyment fragrances. Therefore, my sense of smell along with the relevant brain regions cannot produce any elaborate olfactory and forensic valid scent analyses.
Since there is absolutely nothing written about this aftershave and only 4 owners have registered, I would like to dedicate at least a little attention and love to this product. This AS truly does not deserve to be ignored.
How did I come to this? Well, I was actually looking for the original Stetson AS

A flight to the USA does not improve the situation. However, I stumbled upon this flanker at reasonable prices on the electronic marketplace and seized the opportunity.
What do you get here? The Stetson Cooling Moisture (aftershave) is indeed more old-school and seems to have been formulated a long time ago. It is mild and pleasant on the skin. Mild refers here to the scent intensity and the caring, soothing skin function after shaving. We must not forget that this is a "functional fragrance." And it fulfills this function well and satisfactorily in my eyes.
Applied after shaving, it emits a pleasantly mild, soothing scent. Additionally, it is friendly and gentle on the battered post-shave skin. Even if I happen to have a small bleeding nick while shaving, it shows understanding and does not punish me with stinging reproaches like some other shaving waters. The Stetson Cooling Moisture remains a gentleman and refrains from harsh disciplinary measures.
Who is the target audience? Anyone looking for a calm, composed companion in life after shaving will find it here. It is pleasant to use. Its scent is friendly, with a typical silage and longevity for aftershave. You can enjoy the scent on your skin for about two hours, but then you can also reach for your other fragrance. The Stetson Cooling Water willingly makes way.
