Monkeyflower Stora Skuggan 2025

After a long time, a fragrance has touched me so deeply again that a short statement is not enough.
I would like to say more about this special scent...
First... it was a blind buy for me.
I didn't know this perfume house yet, but Sweden is generally sympathetic to me... I love monkeys, my favorite color is yellow, and I like yellow flowers... what could possibly go wrong? So I took the plunge with the blind buy - and I was not disappointed!
In fact, this scent transports me back to my childhood, just as I've read in others' statements. I have exactly the place and time in mind to which this enchanting fragrance takes me.
Imagine a flower meadow... there are yellow flowers blooming everywhere (coltsfoot)... and dandelions... in between, plenty of dewy clover leaves.
It smells of an endless summer and carefree village childhood. Of bubblegum, bellyaches from laughing, blue skies, friendship, vacations, freckles, little joys, and the childlike hope for an adventurous future.
I find this fragrance incredibly attractive and gentle, and it forms a unity with my skin chemistry.
With it, I won't clash anywhere.
On the contrary, many noses will surely perceive this scent as incredibly friendly - just like I do.
I can already sense the sunscreen, but it is much more the scent of sun-warmed summer skin.
For me, a tiny fig might come to the forefront - a little fig, so to speak... it's amusing to read how different scent perceptions can be.
The bottle fits extraordinarily well with the fragrance and already hints at its character.
In my case, it could become a great love... at least I like it very much, since the first sniff, and I truly don't experience that often.
