I feel crazy because actually this smells nothing like pine to me. It's giving eucalyptus, menthol, and sweetness. My husband smelled it without knowing the name and said it reminds him of gulab jamun (rose, saffron, cardamom, sugar dessert). I fear the label is a bit of a placebo effect.
When I think of pine from my childhood, I can smell the sap that gets stuck to your hands after touching a branch, the crunchy needles on the ground, and the pinecones around the base of the tree. I'm not getting those things from this fragrance. It's actually a very nice scent but my expectations have been dashed.
