I always give my chickens a few sprigs of lavender flowers in their nest. That's exactly the association I have with this herbal lavender in hay.

Yes, it's not a sleep-inducing lavender.

Lavender is lovely as a sleep scent... but I prefer to leave the herbal lavender to your chickens :)

On our balcony, various little birds always stop by and pull out bunches of kitchen herbs from the pots for their nests. They then carry the twigs away in their beaks.
So the little ones have a fragrant, disinfecting interior that can also be eaten... little geniuses, but as cheeky as can be ;-)

Aaaah, that's sweet! :)) Still, I don't think this scent would be for me. I'd rather have a few stems instead...

Oh, and what do you do with that? Do they eat it, or do you give it to them to keep them quiet, hehe...

If you spray this scent in the hens' nest instead of lavender, they probably wouldn't be too thrilled ;-)
