Sporty Fresh
Today I’m really in the mood to test, so I blindly fished out an old sample from my collection, L'Eau Strenesse.
My first thought when I dab it on my skin: Thank goodness I got a fresh spring/summer scent and not some heavy hitter, because it’s supposed to be really nice and hot today :-)
Unfortunately, I couldn’t find a fragrance pyramid, but I’ll try to share my impressions. L'Eau starts off very similarly to Cool Water Woman by Davidoff; bergamot, lotus, and something citrusy could be what makes it fresh. The heart notes don’t take long to appear, it becomes softer and a bit sweeter, even slightly powdery. Lily of the valley is clearly noticeable. However, after 2 to 3 hours, it has disappeared, leaving behind not even a real base note as a farewell. Definitely more subtle than Cool Water (which I don’t necessarily see as a disadvantage) and very pure and clean.
Conclusion: In my opinion, it’s very suitable as a sport fragrance; it leaves a wonderful freshness and doesn’t bother anyone, the sillage is very close to the skin, like freshly washed sportswear. For me, it’s not a "must-have" since the longevity is too low and there are many better alternatives like Sport Water Women by Jil Sander.

I found it very soapy. The poor longevity was the reason I gave it away. Thanks for your alternative suggestions :)

Too bad, 2 to 3 hours really isn't long! The scent notes could appeal to me!
