In the autumn air an echo
of summery citrus rain.
First frost carnations fall
through iris mist
onto nutmeg-tanned leather.
Good-natured darkness

It's not like they reinvented the wheel here, but it does paint a nice picture. However, it's a bit more approachable than I expected. You definitely have to like clove, though.

Not much longer... Frosted carnations and musky leather sound very harmonious.

I'm still clinging to the fading skirts of summer, but when the time comes, this one will be a lovely companion.

Not quite how I imagined Baba Yaga in my childhood - this seems a bit tame :)

I had the EdT version back then. I liked it a lot. The EdP also seems to be a success.

Really nice. It would be interesting to test them against each other, but judging by the statements, they seem quite similar.

It's nice. Unfortunately, the rest of the household thought quite differently, wrinkled their noses, and associated it with "brothel in an Indian urban area." 🤔

Beautiful pictures!
It must be good!
(Please don't take it the wrong way, but due to the reduced resolution of my iPhone, I read frog legs instead of frost cloves.)

You’re capturing this fragrance with its delicate magic between late summer and the first hints of autumn right on the ML for me.

In the opening, there are crushing citrus fruits that would make a fabulous summer cocktail when combined with ice cubes and spirits (though they aren't in the fragrance). The rest of the scent straightforwardly points to autumn, with its first frosty nights and a longing for warming spices (nutmeg and clove are quite prominent in my nose). A prominent iris acts like a soft focus and brightens the darkness. A leather accord enhances the contour from the base and brings along soft, rather light patchouli. There's a hint of damp autumn forest floor. It's a scent I really like, even if I don't experience any mystical "house-on-chicken-leg moment," but it definitely brings joy when wearing it.
With heartfelt thanks to @Marieposa
