Opens with a strong pronouncement of cherry liquer chocolates. This cherry cordial note tickles the nose and teases the tongue until it slips slowly but surely away through the side door. In Scooby Doo fashion, out come the other notes from doors down the hall -- gooey honey-sweet chewing tobacco, dessicated potpourri florals, and yes, very subtle leather. This later note is almost assuredly from the osmanthus, a personal favorite of mine with intriguing fruit and animalic characteristics. Dries down into a gorgeous creamy cherrywood and sandalwood scent. Excellent excellent excellent.
