Florentina Sylvaine Delacourte 2016

The fragrances by Sylvaine Delacourte have an incredible allure for me.
They are so unbelievably soft, feminine, and rounded. Especially the Musk Collection has captivated me.
Yes, they are powdery, but not in an "in your face - baby powder" or "clean scent - fabric softener" way, rather they are very delicate, soft, light, and tender.
Alongside "Lilylang | Sylvaine Delacourte," Florentina is particularly dreamlike.
Like a veil of soft, powdery floral bouquet, this scent envelops my skin. The powder note harmoniously merges with the floral nuances, giving the fragrance a very graceful character.
One can subtly detect a soft almond - heliotrope blend that intertwines with this symphony, while vetiver adds a faint woody note.
At times, the powder note also has a green-floral aspect, which lends a wonderful uniqueness to the whole.
Florentina is a powdery scent, yes, but it is never dry or dusty. It is also not overly sweet in any way. It has a subtle, lovely sweetness.
Florentina is empathetic, very gentle, and delicately structured, but that doesn’t mean the scent lacks radiance. On the contrary, Florentina draws countless compliments. One feels as if the scent has faded, is hardly detectable, but the surroundings perceive it very prominently. I was asked four times this week while shopping which fragrance I was wearing. I think that speaks volumes for it.

Sylvaine Delacourte was inspired as follows:
“As a lover of Italy, the cradle of perfumery, from which the Iris pallida originates, I took this precious base material, whose powdery notes blend wonderfully with musk to achieve a cashmere effect. I was inspired by the magnificent atmosphere of the Palazzo Farnese in Rome, and in this way, I wanted to share the Italian Dolce Vita with you.” - I find she has created this fragrance with such unique softness that one cannot help but feel comfortable while wearing it.
Florentina is elegant, delicate, soft, feminine, well-groomed, flattering, and enveloping. It can be worn by anyone.
I noticed similarities to L'Instant Magic Eau de Parfum and "Flower by Kenzo (Eau de Parfum) | Kenzo." A child of both fragrances would likely smell like Florentina.
Longevity for me is about 8 hours - much longer on clothing.
One thing is certain, after the larger bottle that I indulged in, this fragrance will be moving in with me. Lilylang cannot be left standing alone. And other fragrances from the line still want to be tested.
