Au Coeur du Désert Tauer Perfumes 2016

Au Coeur du Désert hit me quite forcefully in the nose after spraying, even though I only applied a little on the back of my hand. It was briefly overwhelming and at times I could hardly smell the fragrance, which is why I deduct a point. Then an extremely !!! woody, dry scent unfolded. However, I would not classify this as a desert scent. Over time, I also thought I detected something "potato-like," which puzzled me. This was probably due to the strength of the fragrance; one should probably keep a reasonable distance for it to smell optimal. To my surprise, I received a compliment from a woman for the nice scent. I didn't think it would be noticeable, even though I applied it to a small area. After a few hours, something resinous or earthy came through, which I liked. My conclusion is that the perfume should probably be applied sparingly; due to the point deduction, I would rate it an 8. (To give it a 10, the scent would have to offer something truly unique and be perfect.) Anyone looking for a nice warm woody scent can buy this without hesitation.
