Au Coeur du Désert Tauer Perfumes 2016

The perfume is like the hot, dry wind blowing from the Moroccan desert. It embodies the very heart of the desert – the feeling that emerges after being seduced by the scent of Moroccan air, only to find yourself in the desert’s core, where everything intensifies, thickens, and becomes more mysterious. This fragrance is oriental, woody, and balsamic, with amber that ranks among the finest in the world.

It opens with a strong burst of cedar, spices, a hint of birch smoke, labdanum, and patchouli. Immediately, you’ll notice that this scent is much richer and heavier than the “L'Air du Desert Marocain” – denser, oilier, rounder, and more concentrated in the middle. After the initial opening leaves you speechless, the finest part follows: the heart and dry down, which evolve into one of the most beautiful fragrances I’ve ever experienced.

The projection is massive, and the longevity is pure “beast mode.”
