Beautiful Old Shaving Culture
This is a very classic aftershave.
In my opinion, it is a classic barbershop scent.
Distinctive with high recognition value, spicy, sweet-woody, heavy, with an intense and long-lasting sandalwood fragrance.
Many will find the scent too conservative and intense. You have to like it. Those who enjoy classic British men's grooming products will be thrilled. However, one should be prepared for a strong burning sensation after application due to the high alcohol content. It is a piece of beautiful old shaving culture with a straight razor or safety razor, away from canned foam and multi-blade razors.
For younger people, it may not be the right choice. But at my age, it's a nice winter scent.
For an aftershave, the scent is unusually long-lasting and is still subtly noticeable on me after 8 hours. In a small office, it might be bothersome for sensitive colleagues in the first two or three hours.
If you want to use a perfume, it would be better to opt for a more subtle or fragrance-free aftershave.
The price per 100ml can be debated. The TOBS aftershave is already expensive, but that's also the case with aftershaves from Chanel or other manufacturers.
The packaging is a bit oversized and probably could have accommodated a 500ml bottle. The bottle seems rather plain to me and not particularly high-quality.
