Sounds a bit too edible for me, I really don't like this Jaffa cake direction. I had major issues with Roja in that regard, even though this one is definitely of higher quality.
Uh, that's that orange-cocoa combo that I don't like. No matter how royally the Jaffa cake waves, it still feels gooey inside. So much for the edible stuff. As for the scent... if the orange is nice and bitter... on this sandalwood throne... let's give it a try :)
Well, there are 8 ways to put the pack down between the 1st and the 10th cookie. 🤣🤣🤣 I do love Jaffa cakes, they bring back childhood memories, but in this case, I'll just keep the whole pack for myself. I'd probably be curious to sniff the scent and then pass it on.
It's really not my thing, but considering that I usually don't like sweet notes in fragrances and wouldn't choose Jaffa cakes as a snack, I'm impressed by the overall quality.
If there were a noble lineage in the Jaffa biscuit department, this one would wear the crown. An elegant quasi-gourmand with a dominant amber note that captures the moist-dry essence of Jaffa biscuits (I admit I'm not a fan of that variety) and boldly nudges it towards royal court cuisine in a smooth, woody setting. However, it shares the fate of most desserts: the first biscuit is delicious, but by the 10th, it gets a bit overwhelming for me. Still, very well crafted with high-quality ingredients. A big thank you to Sigur! :)
I love the high-quality ingredients at TR too,
but I'll gladly leave the royal cookie to the enthusiasts ;-)
