Patchouly Fresh Inspiration Teufelsküche

More Laundry Scent than Perfume
The patchouli scents from Teufelsküche were once and still are being sold off in common Gothic shops. When I was younger, I had to get a 100ml bottle of the "pure" patchouli perfume. And with that heavy scent, I drove my parents crazy...
Simple patchouli scents, like those from Teufelsküche, are a matter of taste, that's for sure. However, the quality here is more than poor.
Here, you first smell only alcohol. And then the rough, musty cellar-mold patchouli. The overall impression is initially intense and cool due to the bergamot that only flashes through at first. Please don't expect a Habit Rouge dupe or something like that! The bergamot becomes a bit more intense over time and occasionally reminds one of the 4711 top note, but fades away after a few hours, leaving only musty patchouli behind.
Here we have a scene scent for people who WANT to smell musty and moldy. Patchouli Fresh Inspiration serves its purpose, but it is certainly not a high-quality perfume in that sense. Therefore, I would only recommend it to those who want to smell like that.
The sillage is quite strong in the first hour, but then quickly recedes. I know that some goths also use Teufelsküche scents to scent their clothing. I find that quite pleasant as well. A hint of the scent lasts until you wash the garment (if you spray more than necessary, even longer...). I now exclusively use it as a laundry scent. With perfumes, I prefer something a bit more high-quality.

I remember those! When I was still in the scene, those patchouli oils from the esoteric or head shops were all the rage.
