Little Lagoon
I am by the water,
but not on a Caribbean beach, rather at a small lagoon.
It’s morning, the sun is shining, it’s still cool, but I know it will be a warm day. I sit at the edge of the lagoon and dangle my legs in the water. I take a deep breath and notice how the scent of the water blends with the scent of my sunscreen.
It’s quiet. Peace.
I can hardly distinguish individual scent components, but that’s the association I get with this fragrance.
Perhaps, despite the price, a bottle will have to find its way to me someday.
