Interestingly, there is currently a survey on the homepage regarding the correlation (or lack thereof) between price and quality in fragrances. The comments on this are extremely interesting to read, and at least my stance on this topic is as follows: if I have to shell out more than 4 Eur/ml for a fragrance, then I expect it to have a certain performance in terms of longevity and sillage. Especially if the manufacturer is not a house with enormous media hype (advertising/stores/supermodel face). I don’t have to automatically like the fragrance, and it doesn’t have to be a scent bomb for my surroundings, but I DO want to at least find the scent on ME (!) again after a) more than an hour b) more than 10cm away from my arm, and c) without having to spray it 10 times.

I certainly don’t want to exclude the possibility that my skin absorbs it like crazy or that my olfactory organ is just not picking up this particular scent, and I am doing Yin Transformation Eau de Parfum a terrible injustice, but I can only convey my subjective experience. Maybe they also used unicorn dust and fairy powder to justify the price per ml, I don’t know.
I have tested it multiple times, even on "prepared" skin (Vaseline test), nope, nothing doing. A manufacturer sample was also used.

That being said, the scent itself is really beautiful! I have a bit of trouble clearly identifying individual components due to its delicacy; it comes across very soft and creamy, subtly floral and not really citrusy. I had hoped for a bit more tea character, but I can’t detect the tea note; the rose is too dominant in that regard. If one can even speak of dominance, as it is really just a very delicate breeze, more of a little rose. Nothing is off-putting, very harmonious - just so subtle that it borders on non-existence. I generally really like creamy scents, but here I must truly point out that every average body lotion is worlds stronger in comparison! Well, at least the bottle could also be for such a product; a bath additive would also work.

Body spray performance in an Eau de Parfum disguise and at a truly hefty price simply doesn’t fit for me. My Yin transforms nothing here. What a pity!
