at midnight in lemon land

Pour Toi has an interesting progression.

At first, I strongly perceive the berry note, and then the lemon comes in full force. It smells very fruity, sweet, and sparkling. It initially reminds me of those dreadful lemon lollipops shaped like a lemon that were sold in a big jar during my childhood, which always left you with a completely sore tongue. (Of course, only if you had too many of them).
This note remains somewhat present at first, and gradually a powdery note joins in. I can hardly identify where it comes from; for me, the flowers of the heart note are not individually present. The scent now reminds me of a skincare product, like an expensive body cream.

What started off so sparkling becomes darker over time.
It feels as if the night is descending upon the woman wearing "Pour Toi." Just moments ago, in a floral summer dress with her hair down, she now retrieves her elegant evening gown from the closet, puts her hair up, applies red lipstick, and loses herself in the vastness of the city.

In this phase of the fragrance's progression, I predominantly perceive woody notes, paired with a powdery creaminess. Yet the lemon lurks in the background, occasionally reminding of the afternoon sun, allowing the girlish aura of the wearer to briefly shine through, only to disappear again into the darkness of the night.
