I have owned the Tiziana Terenzi Laudano Nero for 2 days now and have been wearing it ever since, spraying it regularly, because it is important to me to really understand new fragrances in my collection and give them time to be noticed by me.
I bought this fragrance blind, in search of "the scent" that would make me stand out for the upcoming Christmas celebrations and get me noticed. I also liked what I had researched about the fragrance - I'm the type for dark, heavy, "dirty" fragrances - others can wear lemon water, but not me.
Now let's move on to my impressions:
Immediately after spraying it on, the often-mentioned alcoholic note is very noticeable - but it's not boozy alcohol like rum or whisky, but rather cleaning alcohol, completely sterile without warmth. However, this first impression fades quite quickly (more or less fortunately) and other components come to the fore - yes, there was the moment when I thought "there's the diaper" - my daughter is just 15 months old, so yes, somehow a hint of urine is perceptible, but rather in the background and certainly not penetrating or overtly perceptible, but really only if you concentrate and think about it "Wait, what is that?" ...
Once this has also faded, a warming, slightly sweet incense fragrance emerges. Once the incense is there, it stays. I don't smell anything else worth mentioning behind, in between, above or below it where I would say "YES, that's exactly ...."
I can't explicitly smell the much-described honey - the incense has something sweet, definitely - is that from the honey? I do not know.
I like the fragrance, but in terms of silage and longevity it performed below my expectations - it's not bad - but it doesn't jump out at you either. It doesn't roar, it's just subtly sweet and incense-like, much quieter than I had expected.
Short anecdote: Last night I was sitting on the bench with my best friend at my son's taekwondo training and my best friend asked "You're wearing incense perfume, aren't you?" After I said yes, he said "I've been wondering what smells like church the whole time".
