Akragas, the Valley of the Temples. Today only ruins, once a flourishing city in Sicily. One can only imagine how it must have smelled there once. Sea, salt, herbs, and limestone. In my opinion, these notes are also reflected in the fragrance of Tiziana Terenzi. It opens fresh, a bit eucalyptus-like with a slight citrus that leans more towards the delicately sweet, all enveloped in a salty mineral cloak. As it develops, Akragas increasingly transforms into a warm-soapy scent with great longevity and a very decent sillage. All in all, a successful composition that truly lives up to its name.
