Juicy synthetics

I was given a sample of this fragrance as a gift with a purchase, so never fully realised how expensive it was until after I tried it. And yes, I'd definitely recommend trying before buying, as personally I don't believe it's worth that much.

The description promises us a change in direction and opening new horizons. It opens with a bunch of sweet-and-sour fruit and berries mashed together. It delves a tiny bit into sweet flowery direction, but ambergris keeps it steady on the cloyingly sweet route. It isn't unpleasant though, on the contrary it's a very nice wearable scent. It's office-coded almost as it has barely any sillage that may offend, but still stays close to the skin for a whole day.

The scent overall reminds me of a multivitamin pill for kids, that's filled with all sorts of artificial fruity flavours. Or, in similar vein, some energy drink, sweet and juicy. I guess the chaotic mishmash of fruits and flowers and synthetic ambergris are too overwhelming and cheapen the scent greatly. If it was a €50 fragrance, it'd be an instant purchase. For ten times that... Well, you really have to love this sort of scent a lot.
