Aren't we all a little bit Iridium?

Who doesn't know it? Iridium…the legendary fragrance that everyone talks and writes about…oh wait, that was probably one of the 79,999 other scents in the database.

Tom Daxon flies under the radar with his fragrances on Parfumo.
At least that's how I perceive it. What could be the reason for this?

A high price and relatively poor testing options are certainly 2 reasons for that. It's a shame, because what Tom Daxon has put together here, surely with the help of his mother and thus the know-how from Molton Brown, is at least worth an extensive test in my opinion.

The bottle is timeless, simple, elegant, and the packaging is designed with love for detail while being straightforward/simple. I really like all of it.

Bottle sizes:
You have the choice between 50ml, 50ml, or the 50ml variant. Should be something for everyone ;-)
#FlankersCraftTip:
You can craft a 250ml bottle from a RedBull can, a spray head, and 5 bottles for a mere €702.75. It won't be as pretty, but it will last a while.

The scent impression starts with a hint of soft leather for those who don't like leather, combined with a subtle iris for those who don't find iris masculine, old-fashioned, or too powdery. The iris remains discreet throughout the scent's progression, but never dominant.

The combination of juniper and angelica gives the fragrance its special framework. Angelica is present in a pleasant dosage without overwhelming the overall scent impression. There’s nothing sweaty or too herbal to be smelled here. Just a silver-green veil that subtly lays over the entire composition.

The interplay creates for me the image of brushed aluminum. The texture and lightness of charcoal also fit. It is rough and velvety at the same time, cool, dry, modern, suitable for everyday wear, and quite elegant.

ISO-E-Super is indicated in the fragrance pyramid. However, I see ISO in this case more as an enhancer of certain fragrance components. I cannot distinctly identify the independent, slightly synthetic-woody ISO aura in Iridium.

The longevity has been beyond any doubt so far. It accompanies me quietly but perceptibly throughout a full workday.

A wonderful fragrance that does not lose its charm even after frequent wear. Clear spraying recommendation!

The amazing DIY tip alone is worth a trophy. For €700, you get something really nice. It's great that the fragrance comes in three sizes too ;-)
Now I just need to test it out once.

Just tested it - a beautiful scent. Juniper doesn't come through for me at all, but there's musk in the base. The longevity is excellent, 1 spray this morning at 8 AM and my arm still smells amazing now :-) .

Great comment... makes me curious... if only it didn't have juniper in it.

The genius of this fragrance for me is definitely the choice of bottle sizes. Very good comment...

For me, it's clearly a blend of "Juniper Sling" and "Escentric 02"... I think both are great... so this one has to be good too :-)

An excellent comment on an excellent fragrance. Angelica and juniper combine with the ISO-E to create a dream pairing. Unfortunately, the 50ml I received yesterday isn't enough for a full bath ;). It's great that we're exploring the Tom Daxon universe together... he's definitely worth it! Longevity can be significantly improved with a bit of clothing contact... And now it's time to experiment... Thanks, Flanker :))

Thank you! :) I really can't complain about the longevity. As mentioned, it gets me through the workday well... In my opinion, it's better than Sicilian Wood.

As always, a great comment! :-)! I thought it was awesome too, alongside Sicilian Wood... but unfortunately, it didn't last very long :-( Is it the same for you?!!
