Noir Tom Ford 2012 Eau de Parfum

She shivers in the wind, like the last leaf on a dying tree.
......I let her hear my foot steps.
She only goes stiff for a moment.
I ask her, "care for a smoke?"
As she turns around, she looks down & then up really quick & back down again, she replies, "sure, I'll take one." Then she asks me, "Are you as bored by that crowd as I am?"

I look back at her, with mystery in my eyes, & reply, "I didn't come here for the party. I came here for you." As she looks back at me, almost turned on. I continue to tell her, "I've watched you for days.......you're everything a man could ever want. & it's not just your face. Or your......figure. Or even your voice."
I flick open my lighter & go to light her cigarette...... "It's your eyes. All the things I see in your eyes."
She let's out her first drag, smiles almost insulted, turns around & asks me, "What is it you see in my eyes?" ........I pause for a second to allow her mind to wonder & then I reply, "I see a crazy calm. You're sick a running. You're ready to face what you have to face, but you're not ready to face it alone."
She replies, "No.....I don't wanna face it alone" saying it as if the admission lifted 50 lbs of stress off her shoulders. She looks back, almost relieved of saying it. She gives a break in her face, a smile. A small one , a nervous one.
I look at her.....I go into kiss her. Embrace her.

The wind rises electric. We kiss.
She's soft & warm & almost weightless.......
Her perfume is sweet promise that brings tears to my eyes.
........I tell that everything will be alright. That I'll save her from whatever she's scared of & take her far far away......we kiss again.
I tell her....I love her.

A small noise, a silenced gun shot.........
.
The silencer makes a whisper of the gun shot.
I hold her close until she's gone.
Ill never know what she was running from.........
