Orchid Soleil wonderfully original. A strange sharp, fresh, green, rubbery floral meets masa opening yields to the voluptuous scent of tuberose and lilies with a sweet base of a woody vanilla. It strikes me at once as both Avant Garde and classic. It's creamy, sweet and full bodied without being overpowering. The opening has a quality that I've never experienced in a composition before: it's nose clearing in a way that suggests extra oxygen in the environment, as if you've entered a greenhouse full of plants.
White floral dominant scents don't always agree with my nose and I often feel fatigued wearing them but this very easy to wear. At the far dry down all the floral notes have burnt off and what remains is an accord reminiscent of waffle cones. Lovely, distinctive stuff!
