Soleil Blanc interesting stuff. The opening has a fresh, kind of ozonic/aquatic vibe without smelling like calone or citrus or cucumber. On dry down most of what I smell is a huge dose of lactones which smell milky, round and rather opaque. These lactones mix with a tuberose and ylang ylang notes, a sheer and bright cardamom note, white musk and a smidge of something that reminds me of polysantol.
To me Soliel Blanc doesn't quite smell like suntan oil because of the cardamom and the fact that it doesn't actually smell overtly of coconut. This is exceedingly well blended and it is hard to pick out individual notes even after becoming familiar with it. It certainly smells 'white' to me, and there is a facet that reminds me of the smell of opening a rice cooker when you've cooked high quality jasmine rice. Very nice and highly wearable.
