A Scent for Going Out - Exudes Adventure
This scent is something special for me.
It's the rum note that does it. I find it somewhat disturbing in one way, but also invigorating in another. Somehow, it feels cheerful to me. I wore the fragrance at a Detroit Techno party; it's actually too elegant for that, but it just fit. The colorful yet minimalist visuals in the club, the dark music, and a crackle in the air. That evening, I found the person I want to grow old with.
I'm not really familiar with the scent of orchids. I've taken care of a few of them and find them quite beautiful as plants, but olfactorily, I haven't been able to make the right connection yet.
What I like best is the deep dark rose, the heavy sweetness, and the oriental framework that casually holds all the components together. Labdanum fits so well into the concept. Myrrh and vanilla round off the perfume. I personally don't perceive sandalwood.

I'm really glad you've read several of my comments. With this one, I've also found a substitute for Belle D'Opium. Unfortunately, it's no longer on the market. What a shame.
