Velvet Orchid Lumière is a scent of romance.
A scent of sensuality. Of desire and also of elegance.
Wonderful rum note that spreads right from the start.
Light hints of resin, rich smoke.
Everything in beautiful blue/purple tones - no deep black.
Gently it lays in honey,
covered by the night.
Rose, lightly illuminated by the moon,
lets its scent deeply relax into the darkness.
One can only sip it enjoyably in thought,
sinking into sleep tipsy.
So lovely and sweet - so sensual and seductive.
The sweetness feels rich, but does not overwhelm.
It is a wonderful balance to feel in the scent,
indeed a good atmosphere that Velvet Orchid Lumière spreads.
Towards the end, it becomes a bit sharper,
the sweetness slightly pulled into the background.
A gentle, bright wood note joins in.
All this unfolds for a long time -
for the sillage and longevity are remarkable.
So I praise it to myself - I could wrap myself in my bathrobe for hours,
for I have almost "drenched" myself generously with the scent.

The big sister has not much to do with this scent.
I may claim that they are a different pair, but you can tell that there is a common line, even if it does not lead to the same destination.
