Very nice freshie

St. Barts for Men is a surprisingly good citrus freshie. The citrus here is not biting; it's quite smooth and dries down to a somewhat creamy/citrusy scent that is quite pleasant. Did not get any aquatic or marine accords. I think it would work best in very hot weather. It is also superior to the four Tommy Bahama fragrances I tested earlier - the ones with the horn cleat tops.

Considering that St. Barts is of cologne strength, the performance was not bad. It does diminish quickly after the first hour but hangs around as a rather close scent but still projecting out for about 3 feet. Price at discounters is around $23 for 3.4oz/100ml making it a pretty good value.

Sounds pretty good actually, perhaps as a creamy alternative to Givrée in high heat?

@Smirky Lingering creamy citrus definitely sounds GREAT to me, because in 99% cases the citrus is gone in the drydown and it's just sun lotion musk or whatever.

I still would like to get a bottle though. And pretty cheap from discounters.

Yes, it's definitely way smoother than Givree but also quite a bit weaker. That said, after about 4 hours I walked up to a girl I know who was sitting in her pickup with the window rolled down. As we were talking - our heads were like 2' apart - she suddenly said I smelled good. And this was outdoors, obviously. So maybe a bit stronger than I give it credit for.
