Here it is, the little Tommy 50ml bottle. Chubby, despite its square shape, with the little ribbon. Is this supposed to be for big girls? Well, let’s take a sniff.
It starts off fresh, something you know from Hilfiger. Lolita will be disappointed, as there is no raspberry noticeably present. But the flowers!! Very nicely balanced, powdery right from the start. The magnolia I feared is not detectable, as it usually gives me headaches. All the flowers are beautifully bundled, powdered by lily, refreshed by citrus fruits. The fresh note persists throughout the entire progression, which gradually becomes warmer (so to speak). This is truly a fragrance for grown-up girls.
Of course, when you see Tommy's fashion, a heavy, overpowering scent like a spice-laden brew wouldn’t fit here. Woman stays close to the body, wonderfully soft and veeeery slightly woody, while the freshness remains constant. The longevity is relatively good for such a delicate scent.
Currently (May 2010) available at Douglas in the 50ml size EdP with a dark blue fabric clutch for €49 at the introductory price. As far as I know, the fragrance is only sold at Douglas, as it was created in cooperation with Hilfiger.
