Beautiful combination of clary sage with geranium and aquatic notes

After testing a series of summer fragrances and finding nothing that really suited me, I spontaneously decided to make a blind purchase again.
My collection definitely needed something summery to add.

It had to be the 1920 since it is a cheapie (around 25,-) with an 8.3 rating, and the fragrance notes cover all my scent preferences, but it shouldn't be too sweet.
Last year, I was recommended the fragrance by a Parfumo user, and recently it was mentioned again rather coincidentally on a YouTube channel.

The opening is slightly citrusy and beautifully fresh, with a bit of spiciness and fruitiness always in the background. Somehow, I also perceive "1920 The Origin" as a retro scent, which could be due to the clary sage that I enjoy smelling in older fragrances.
The transition from sage to the presumed geranium is fluid, and the dry down smells wonderfully green, floral, spicy, dry, and earthy.

As "Gluckspilz" beautifully described a year ago - everything is beautifully intertwined.

However, there is always an aquatic synthetic note in the background that will surely not appeal to everyone. The fragrance unfolds best on clothing, where it also lasts well.

Initially, the sillage is quite strong and lasts for a few hours, but after half a day, it can definitely be reapplied. I will test the fragrance in the coming days in really hot weather with plenty of sprays (it doesn't cost much).

The bottle looks stylish, but the cap and the lower coat are made of somewhat cheap plastic, although the closure fits nicely and securely.
