A Bath in Sweet Almond Milk
The opening is slightly gourmand, due to the amaretto, which definitely dominates the initial impression. This can be a bit off-putting at first, especially if you, like me, are not the biggest fan of "edible scents." I do have a few in my collection now, but none have been love at first sniff. This one is no different. I thought to myself, do you really want to smell like an amaretto cookie? But later in the drydown, this fragrance develops so beautifully. It becomes creamy, powdery, soft, caressing, and the benzoin adds a very slight freshness. The almond is still present and is accompanied by a fine, floral, not too sweet vanilla. You feel like you've just taken a bath in almond milk. A perfect scent for everyday wear that will definitely garner compliments. Despite the amaretto at the beginning, it is surprisingly not overpowering at all, and you simply feel good with this fragrance.

You've described it beautifully; that's how I feel about it too.
