They are freedom-loving creatures, love warmth, and enjoy feeling the fresh wind on their noses.
They are sensitive, affectionate, and gentle.
Graceful beings, bursting with positive energy, always striving to please those they are fond of.
All of this is shared by the greyhounds with “Donna - Levriero Collection,” and thus Trussardi's dedication to the Levriero, the greyhound (which, by the way, has adorned the brand's emblem since the founding of the fashion house), fits perfectly with one of their most well-known and beloved fragrances.
This scent loves the sun, loves the fresh air around it, and snuggles up to its owner with delight.
Outside, it plays around its wearer with a subtle citrus note and lovely floral hints, dancing elegantly with every breeze, while inside it cuddles closely on the couch; warming, vanilla-soft, and intimate.
Rainy days and damp, cold weather are just as unwelcome to “Donna - Levriero Collection” as they are to the greyhounds.
Just as they lay their ears back and, with their tails tucked, reluctantly leave the comfort of their home in bad weather, the fragrance retreats closely to the skin and seems to stiffen a bit. But even the smallest ray of sunshine brings it back to life.
Never too intrusive in its subtle sweetness, this perfume always maintains a balance between feminine elegance and playful lightness. Beautiful and pleasing all around without being obsequious.
Those who know the conventional “Donna” will surely also appreciate the “Levriero Collection.”
In my opinion, the opening here is a bit smoother regarding the citrus, and overall the Intense version feels much rounder, a bit softer, and more balanced than the standard version, which I also hold in high regard.
And for those, like me, who are utterly enamored with greyhounds, the bottle alone is a must ;-)
Even though I perceive the scent with a significantly different focus than you, I really enjoyed reading your comment. It conveys so much love and respect for animals without being overly sentimental, and I also found interesting, new information in it. I find this combination very refreshing!
I really liked the old Trussardi back then. Whether for ladies or gentlemen. And dogs have always been by my side. And for these Trussardi fragrances described so warmly, I definitely won't say no!
This is a truly charming and very informative comment, both about greyhounds and about a beautifully described scent that I don't know yet. Sensitive, gentle, and cuddly sounds wonderful, whether it's about the dogs or this fragrance. I'm placing a trophy here for you.........
Sensitive, empathetic, informative, and sparking pure curiosity, you’ve connected your beloved dogs to the cherished fragrance. Who could have done it better than you? Pure reading pleasure :-).
What a lovely comment, especially the pictures you describe! I haven't tried the scent yet, but you've really piqued my curiosity... adding it to my wishlist! :-)
I like the original scent, but unfortunately it doesn't last long on me :-/. You've described this one so vividly that I can really picture it. How is the longevity and sillage?
Very nicely written!
