perhaps also on the Emscher
After I recently dealt with Uli Schneider's "No. 1," so that it does not completely go unnoticed in the sea of discontinued fragrances, I would like to avert this fate from "No. 2" as well, which, although listed as "still in production," is in fact no longer available anywhere.
While Ms. Schneider launched a sumptuous creation for the evening as her first fragrance, which was also suitable as a daytime companion in autumn and winter, the other side of "two of a kind" proves to be a distinctly brighter, lighter daytime scent for the warmer season.
Here, too, an almost aldehydic fizz opens, quickly replaced by acid-free citrus fruits, honeydew melon, and peach - they seem cool, almost cold, freshly cut, unripe.
For minutes, their scent lingers in the air, while in the background a bouquet forms that is in no way inferior to the splendor and volume of "No. 1," yet here appears more transparent and softer, almost pastel-colored.
Flowers and fruits unite in an alliance of spring-fresh cheerfulness, bathed in light, carefree, soon grounded by firm, dark wood, with a few herbs and shrubs here and there.
It comes across as friendly, seriously cheerful, very grown-up, and very feminine.
A classically composed fragrance with modern elements, far removed from the overly sweet, overly loud scents of this time - a fragrance without edges and corners, finely woven, smoothed, and polished.
A scent for the white blouse, for the suit, and for jeans.
For the light summer dress, for fine blonde hair.
For the 30th, for the 50th, for the 70th birthday.
Before, after, and also in between.
By the Elbe and the Rhine, perhaps also on the Emscher.
PS: Bigalchen - thank you!
