I like all of the Born in Roma flankers much more than the original. While the original is sort of generic, I find the flankers much more interesting. This one, in particular, is energizing without being cloying or obnoxious. The woody notes smell prominent on my skin and help ground the otherwise bright notes. I love rosewater and I can pick up the distinct rosewater in this pretty consistently throughout the day, which is remarkable for a delicate note with so many other notes blended in. While the combination of fruit/floral/vanillas/woods isn’t exactly groundbreaking, this is one of the better examples I’ve smelled in this classic combination.
I originally acquired a travel size of this. If I continue to enjoy it so much, I will eventually go for a full bottle.
