A pleasant juniper-ginger scent for me
Today I wore a fragrance at work that I really liked. The "Palazzo Nobile - Casanova 2161 | Valmont" offers a lot of juniper - if you like that, you should definitely give it a sniff. The longevity is solid at around 7 to 8 hours. I would describe the sillage as moderate.
The top note starts, as mentioned, with a good amount of juniper but also has a nice freshness. Ginger and a bit of grapefruit are also present. The heart note smells greenish and spicy with juniper berries. I don't perceive any iris or other floral hints. The vetiver that is indicated in the fragrance pyramid is also missing in the base. Here, I have to think of a rather synthetic version of a gin and tonic.
Even though not much is happening here, I am still satisfied. I simply really like juniper. I perceive this scent as more masculine than unisex. I thank Osman for the manufacturer sample.
