Incredibly beautiful scent, unfortunately with a big deduction in points

I recently snagged Bois D'Iris at the Souk.
Since it was a blind buy and I love powdery scents, I was super excited and was not disappointed when it arrived - at least not by the scent DNA, which is incredibly wonderful.
I really love Dior Homme Intense and have always been looking for a similar, slightly feminine scent DNA, and after testing Bois D'Iris for the first time, I thought, wow! I have finally (and by chance) found my more feminine alternative to DHI.
UNFORTUNATELY, Bois D'Iris seems to have almost no sillage on me; I can barely smell it on my wrist just 10 minutes after spraying it..... super, super disappointing.
Therefore, I now layer Bois D'Iris only with DHI, and that gives me my sillage.
However, I must say that you can almost only smell DHI this way, but at least it has a slight feminine touch.

The very nice alternative Iris Extreme from Heritage Berbere unfortunately isn't any better. I love the DNA too, but H/S...

I felt the same way. Terrible longevity and zero sillage... Really a shame...

It could also be your nose! I experience that with some fragrances too, even though they are quite noticeable for others!
