Winter staple. Luxuriously smooth.
Amazing and phenomenal smooth vanilla-almond-tonka bean scent. A staple in my collection for winter and fall, so I have a backup bottle. The projection on this is fairly discreet but it's a beautiful scent for your personal bubble or for personal encounters with others. Longevity is 3-4 hours max on my skin. I would compare this scent's similarity to Commodity's Milk Expressive or L'orchestre Parfums Piano Santal, but a much nicer and smoother version that is free of unpleasant accords.

Thanks that’s very helpful! I just bought a partial of Santal Austral and thinking I need to slow down on warm, creamy sandalwoods 😂 I found your reviews when I was looking up amouage meander after I fell in love with it!

Thank you! :-) Santal Austral has a much greater sillage or projection while Bois Doré is discrete. The only note they share is tonka but BD is much more creamy and nutty. Santal Austral has a radiant warmth from the benzoin and sandalwood but I think they're pretty distinct smells.
