When I first wrote a review for this fragrance, I was impressed by how unique and intense this fragrance was and wanted a bottle of it just as appreciation for the art. I stated I wouldn't wear this very frequently at all.
A few months later, I want a full bottle not only for the art but also for the comfort. It truly does remind me of a stormy autumn above the salty North Sea. It's rough, salty, unisex and yet so COOL. I only really get the smoke if I smell it up close, but it's more "old shipwreck wood" than "beachside fire". It feels like a really badass scent for a moody day or after a shower, it can freshen you up too. I'm still not likely to wear it when I go out in public because it feels so unusual, but I catch myself putting it on just to feel fresh or to enjoy feeling awesome.
Definitely not a blind buy and even if you do have a sample, you may have to give it a few tries before forming an opinion. This was a slow-burn love for me, but oh boy am I in love.
