Vintage Tea
Persian Tea Room smells exactly like the name suggests: dry dusty spices and tea, with the soft suede note pulling it all together. Very powdery with a vintage vibe and good silage that radiates around me in a soft haze. This slightly reminds me of a spicy vintage mainstream scent but I can’t for the life of me remember which one. Another beautiful olfactory journey courtesy of Alkemia :D

Sweet Tea
Extremely sugary tea with a bit of spice. Persian tea should be more robust and black, not so sugary. There should be rose water in there, or cardamom. Maybe the slight spice is cardamom, I don't know.

Perhaps this scent is meant to evoke the experience of the tea room itself, with its sugary pastries and smell of hookah. There is very little smoke, almost imperceptible. Overall, it is the only Alkemia scent I can stand and it is an admirable effort. It is very strong and very affordable.

Hospitality
I'm more of a tea fanatic. I like to drink tea, I also pay attention to organic quality etc. I pick my own herbs for herbal teas and dry them. However, it's not a real ceremony for me.

Persian Tea Room is a different story. Black tea is preferred in Persia and is an integral part of the day. Prepared in a samovar and, depending on personal taste, the black tea is flavored with spices such as cinnamon and cardamom or rose petals.
In Persia, tea is a symbol of coziness and hospitality. Guests are always offered tea when they arrive to welcome them.

Persian Tea Room embodies this fragrance for me because it is spicy, tart and leathery and has been refined with oriental spices. Slightly sweet, dry, with skin-hugging soft musk and dusty sand, warm and tart, it gives a delicious sensation to the nose. Dark, spicy, fruity tea. A little aroma booster.

A smile from across the room as you turn away. The success of this perfume is its warmth and heavy spice.
