Very helpful Review

Actually, I wanted to finally get a glimpse of the "Shirin David" fragrance at dm this morning.
It felt like it could have beamed me back 45 to 50 years. Because that would have had to happen to make a fair statement. And I am always curious anyway.
But that was neither necessary nor possible: the testers were not there - they had been stolen for the fourth time in just a few days!
So I ended up, more or less by chance, with Vera Wang's "Embrace." I chose "Green Tea and Pear Blossom."
A bit daring, since I’m not really into green tea at the moment. How will this reveal itself to me?
But as often happens when you have no idea what to expect, the result is pleasantly positive.
So it is here.
A fine, light hint of pear (is it really just the blossom?) mixes delightfully fresh with the more robust bergamot and green tea.
The floral heart with freesia, peony, and orange blossom delights and warms the soul. This is, of course, primarily thanks to the wonderful orange blossom.
So far, it is a very successful blend that brings me much joy.
The base rounds off this fragrance very sensitively. For me, as a lover of it, sandalwood is very well dosed.
My previous opinion that sandalwood wonderfully stabilizes these light, floral fragrances has once again been confirmed here.
The longevity is not overwhelming; but at this pleasant price, one can spray without hesitation. This fragrance does not become annoying: it doesn’t disturb those around you!
"Green Tea and Pear Blossom" is truly a very beautiful fragrance composition. Not sophisticated, but created with great affection.
And that’s why this embrace is a very successful, particularly charming one.
