No compliments to be had with this one...
Red Jeans was my very first blind buy ever, back when I was a young teen. I learned a very important lesson that day! I didn't like it all. It's a very heavy scent on me, and it doesn't fade all that easily either. There are times when this gave me trouble breathing. No matter how hard I scrubbed, I could still smell it on me.
It opens with a strong alcohol-smell. Thee fruity notes are really artificial, synthetic and overall it was quite manly smelling too. I guess it's not supposed to be a casual perfume for everyday wear. One of my classmates once remarked who was wearing that strong men's cologne. It was me, all along. Wearing Versace Red Jeans. Ahh the embarassment... I was hoping that other people didn't smell the same thing that I was smelling. My chemistry just didn't work with this one.
I ended up repurposing this one. I used pretty much entire bottle as a bathroom spray. Stinky bathroom no more!
