Delicious scent soup with two hairs in it! ;-)
This fragrance should actually be made for me: fresh, aquatic, citrusy, yet with unmistakable radiance and its own character. The gold on the bottle already suggests that one can expect more than just freshness, e.g. a noble spice and high-quality aromas. All created by Alberto Morillas, an experienced perfumer of rank. Additionally, I really enjoy the simple Versace pour Homme on myself despite its rather low complexity.
And then there’s Bleu de Chanel, one of my "favorite go-to scents," with which Dylan Blue is often compared. However, I can only partially understand this comparison. Aside from the fact that both EDTs go in the same rough direction, they are quite different in my nose. If I remember Dior's Sauvage correctly (I have only tested it), I would draw many more parallels to that. This is mainly due to a specific scent note that I cannot specify further. A note that, while it doesn't remind me of Sauvage in a colossal way, still bothered me enough to decide against a purchase. It could be something resinous or oceanic, but I unfortunately don't know for sure.
Despite excellent longevity and good sillage, the salty note that becomes clearly prominent after about half an hour is, so to speak, a "thorn in my olfactory organ." My skin already excretes enough salt when I sweat! ;-) Therefore, I rate the fragrance, despite excellent prerequisites and the associated anticipation as well as a comparatively fair price, only with 2 to 3+.

Ambrox is what you don't find that great... I feel the same way. However, Dylan Blue has just the right amount of it, which is why I chose it over Sauvage, and of course, because Sauvage is now everywhere.

The saltiness really bothers me in Sauvage EdP. I don't think it comes through as much in the EdT. Nice comment.

The "golden" part is more meant as a logo. It's almost kitschy. I can confirm the good longevity, but it’s definitely more in line with Chanel Bleu; Sauvage smells quite different, which is a good thing. Nice comment.
