The new one from the Atelier Versace actually promises something sweeter because of the saffron. However, what I perceive first is something bitter and dark.
Yet it is so well and smoothly wrapped that even I, as a novice to sweet scents, like it.
The plum comes across lightly and pleasantly, harmoniously blending with the sandalwood. The pralines add a creaminess that caresses.
Towards the end, the patchouli also emerges subtly and not too dominant.
All in all, a pleasant mix for everyday wear to carry something special but also for special occasions.
Price-performance is something everyone has to decide for themselves.
H&S is okay but could project a bit more.
