Beautiful Thing
Patchouli Précieux is a great fragrance that manages to present patchouli in a wonderfully pleasing and smooth manner, but at the same time, it has those earthy notes that are not for everyone. I really like it.
In addition to the patchouli, we have incorporated a pleasant sweetness, spicy facets, as well as beautiful woody notes. Great scent.
For me, the fragrance starts directly with the base note of patchouli.
The patchouli actually comes through right from the beginning. Additionally, we have a saffron note that is almost sweet and subtly fruity.
The fruity component likely comes mainly from the candied plum. However, I somehow feel that the saffron is emitting these impressions. There is also a hint of nutmeg, which adds a certain spiciness, but it’s perfectly fine!
During the progression, it becomes noticeably woodier.
Overall, it becomes a bit smoother. The sweet facets in the fragrance become slightly more intense, the spiciness recedes, and the patchouli loses some of its pleasantly earthy character.
Unisex? Yes.
