Intriguing citrus freshie with a hint of masculinity
I stumbled upon a small 30ml bottle of this perfume at Winners / Homesense and since "Versace pour Femme Dylan Purple | Versace" had crushed my expectations, I was more than willing to buy this one (the discounted price was a nice bonus). At first spray, there's no alcohol, but plenty of freshly squeezed citrus with a strong spicy note. I had a feeling the pepper would stay on my skin since my skin chemistry seems to vibe very well with this note. The perfume slowly begins to morph into this sweet, slightly tropical guava mixed with pretty white flowers. This time, the white florals aren't creamy, they're more floral and exhale an indolic aspect.
After a while and everytime I'd catch a whiff of the perfume, it would oscillate between a few things. I'd smell a sharp almost synthetic sting of fruity shampoo and later on I'd catch a whiff of a sweet, almost candy-like tropical fruit. The pink pepper note stayed all along in the background, adding a certain complexity to the scent. All in all, it's an absolute masterpiece of a perfume because of its constant morphing into various combination of scents. It starts as a nice citrus freshie with a hint of masculinity due to the spicy accord and then evolves into a fruity floral perfume, almost tropical, but also great for everyday wear. It's quite elegant, distinctive and different from what I have smelled from designer perfumes up until now.
I'm not sure if it has a place in my collection because the combination of fruity and spicy isn't really for me, but I'm willing to try the perfume later on in colder weather and see how it goes from there.
