Yeah. There’s probably a lot of synthetic stuff in it, but not the annoying kind that makes the scent too loud or stings the nose. It also explains the low longevity, but I'd prefer this over those terrible bases.
*What can I say? This is a clone of "Gucci pour Homme II" (which Gucci has discontinued...) that only differs from the original in a few ways. The opening is slightly more citrusy and fresh, not quite as spicy, but it has the same lovely tea note. After about 30 minutes, there’s almost no difference when tested side-by-side, with the Gucci being a bit sweeter. This continues until the original reaches its base of violet leather + tobacco after 3-4 hours, while this one just fades away. However, it also means there’s no synthetic cream-wood base, which would definitely have been the case for this price. Overall, I paid €17 for 150ml, including shipping from Spain. Definitely better than throwing €300 at the original. Unbeatable price/performance ratio, and for me personally, I feel no guilt since Gucci doesn’t want to sell the original anymore.*
