Fennel is one of my favorite scents in real life, but it doesn't translate in this powdery mess of a fragrance. Hoping for a calming, soft, spicy combo, I was unfortunately hit with a headache-in-a-bottle that also seems out of place in the current scent culture. Unfortunately, Viktor & Rolf fragrances have failed to impress me, aside from the deliciousness of their bourbon vanilla bases (as in the classic Flowerbomb, which was sadly another fail for me). If anyone has recommendations for feminine-coded fragrances that integrate fennel and aren't sharp or super strong, I'd be grateful!
