Love Grenade
I received the fragrance by chance as a free sample online and was immediately surprised by how pleasantly sweet and warming the scent is. Today, the 50ml bottle finally arrived.
The opening smells very fruity and berry-like, but what makes the fragrance so wonderful for me is the drydown, which starts quickly. After 5-10 minutes, I personally perceive mainly a blend of berries along with cinnamon, tobacco, and a hint of saffron. Very pleasant and has a warming quality, definitely a great scent for winter - especially since I don't know many fragrances that smell so fruity and juicy while still being suitable for winter, although I would dare to try it in summer. The fruitiness in the perfume could make it wearable even at higher temperatures. The progression is not very exciting and rather linear, but that's not a problem since the scent itself simply smells fantastic throughout.
I can really imagine this scent for dates and generally for cozy evenings; it creates a wonderful contrast to the typical gourmands that lean towards, for example, "Noir Extreme (Eau de Parfum) | Tom Ford."
The bottle is an absolute grenade - literally. Super nice design like in the entire Spicebomb line and very creative, fits well in the hand, and it's just fun to hold the thing in your hand, though maybe that's just the playful child in me :D
H/S was really decent for the price and considering it's an EdT. It projects for me at least around 6 hours quite solidly, and after that, I can still perceive it up close.
In conclusion, as the title suggests, for me it's simply the ultimate dating scent (mainly for winter). If you're looking for something fruitier like a berry mix and warming with tobacco/chill notes, definitely give it a try.
