vive la reine et vive la gourmandise or: Decadence in a Bottle

... if it had existed, she would have worn it.

Versailles, a hell of splendor à la carte, Louis XVI, our la Tapette as he is written in the book, today also affectionately called: Softy, and the all too unconventional
L´autrichienne Marie, and in the midst of the whole entourage: Boudoir Jouy - too expensive for the whores, just good enough for the maîtresses and ladies of state. "If they have no bread..." yes, then they might as well just spray themselves with Boudoir, the appetite is certainly satisfied, as it lingers on the uvula and swings back and forth.

Boudoir: women's room, whorehouse, sex education establishment.
Jouy: decadent fabric with embroidered snapshots of rich, bored children striking theatrical poses or being visited by a host of admirers.

Add it all together and you get a perfume that just oozes decadence and settles into every pore it can find.
Bon Appétit!

It makes me addicted, but I could vomit if my best friend wears it.

It smells of more, but hardly anything sprayed on, and every spritz is already too much of the more.

It has class, but still I inevitably think of clients and the vulgar whorehouse smell, that merging of "just-had-sex" with "more-is-still-not-enough" and scantily clad ladies who smell of cigarettes, vanilla, and lace. Sure, the thought isn't bad, but sometimes it needs to be more modest and simply closed off, thus more interesting.

Hmm, you know that you want to do it today and will,
then wear Boudoir, you can't send a more conspicuous message unless you put a sign with neon lights and capital letters on your head, announcing that you want SEX tonight.

Two/three spritzes of Boudoir Jouy will do.

Conclusion:

decadent scent, not too commonly spread and always interesting to smell. If you want to let your personal Marie shine through, then get it; if you prefer to be the flower girl next door, then keep your fingers away and click on. ;)

In this sense

I also think you got the "regular" Boudoir. That comment fits perfectly.

For me, it has a lot in common with Kenzo's Madagascar - a wet-dry green-floral vanilla *puzzle*. So it's not decadent for me at all, but rather kind of relaxed and exotic :-) Skins and noses, I'm telling you...

I'm not quite sure if it's **Flower Girl** or **Marie**... Let's test it out!
