On the Search for the Pleasing Patchouli Scent Part 6

Now it’s time for “Classic Patchouli”.

Here too, the beginning is clearly dominated by patchouli. A bit of tart citrus freshness accompanies the scent in the first minutes. The patchouli carries a resinous, dark chocolate note for a long time. Up to this point, I really like “Classic Patchouli”.

Over time, the scent becomes softer and a bit vanilla-like. On my skin, it develops very close to the body, with little projection and sillage. That deducts points, but I still like it...

But suddenly it smells as if someone has glued a large piece of smoked ham to my skin!
Toot toot, game over, disqualification for unfair means! I am a very tolerant vegetarian, but this is not acceptable; I don’t want to smell like this when I’m actually looking for patchouli...

For the successful beginning and the first minutes of the middle part, I still give it 60%. This ham patchouli (is it a gourmand then?) has no chance of making it to the final round.
