Peppered Fair in the Cedar Forest
Incenso Nobile was a successful blind purchase for me, even though the namesake incense does not solely take the fragrant lead role.
With Incenso Nobile, it is rather a successful accord of pepper, incense, and cedarwood that forms the basis of the scent.
In the opening, pepper and incense are still somewhat dominant, but the cedar does not take long to make its presence known. Gradually, the fragrance becomes woodier until the three notes find balance. I cannot identify a base accord even after multiple wearings.
However, Incenso Nobile behaves differently on skin than on fabric. On skin, the scent becomes woodier more quickly, a bit softer, and the sillage diminishes quite rapidly to skin level. On fabric, however, the pepper comes through more, and the fragrance retains its noticeable sillage for a long time.
Incenso Nobile reminds me a little of Encense Flamboyant by Goutal in its composition, but I wouldn't necessarily call it a scent twin.
With Incenso Nobile, the Italian brand Wally shows that unusual fragrances do not have to be positioned in the upper price segment. However, the shipping costs when ordering from Italy are not negligible, and unfortunately, there is no free shipping offered above a certain order amount. The products are very lovingly designed, and while the bottles are simple, they are still beautifully crafted with the lovely Renaissance-style labels. This also applies to the packaging.
The samples that were sent along were, except for one, not to my taste, but the ordered room fragrance was a complete hit.

Top-notch, peppery incense! You can get it in Germany at "Warenhaus Schulz" (also available on Amazon).

Sounds good. But maybe I'll start with the Goutal since it's lighter and easier to get without shipping costs :-)

With expensive shipping, you're kind of forced to order a few fragrances at once, right? :o)

That sounds great once again - a bit unusual, but not unbearable, even if you're not a hardcore perfume fan, ;-). A group order would definitely be worth it here, wouldn't it?!
