Cognac is still swirling around in the wooden barrel, other notes can't really unfold. Floral scents are completely unrecognizable.

Yes, and in a cedar wood barrel, where cognac really doesn't belong. That's probably why I don't like it at all. The pure scent of cedar wood, which I definitely perceive here, is already a matter of debate, but that cognac note takes it in a very unpleasant direction for my nose. It doesn't have much to do with the art of perfumery anymore; it feels more experimental.
